If you like to have a cocktail every now and then, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and keep all cash, plastic credit and cheques back at the hotel. Pack whatever money you intend to use on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to burn and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit after a boozy evening out with your acquaintances and be blessed sufficiently to hook a 25 minute toss at a hot craps game. Don’t forget that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and bet. The two simply do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah out of the casino is a little bit dramatic, but precautionary actions for drastic actions is compulsory. If you play to win, then don’t drink and play. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the no charge beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of chasing squanderings after your dead drunk brain squanders all the cash!
Let me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then jump on the net to wager in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my apartment, but considering that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Despite the fact that I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is absolutely enough to blur my judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for an awful, and costly, drink.
