In addition, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is open 24 hours, with 38,500 square feet, 1,589 slots, 36 table games, and four eatery’s. There are many other dominant Iowa casinos, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a river boat gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend paddle wheel boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. Another Iowa paddle wheel boat casino, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. river based gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday twenty-one tournaments.
Iowa casinos provide an awesome deal of tax money to the government of Iowa, which has enabled the budgeting of many commonwealth wide projects. Visitors have grown at a rapid rate accompanied with the demand for services and a growth in working people. Iowa gambling halls have contributed to the expansion of the market, and the excitement for gambling in Iowa is widespread.
